A bit hit and miss. Inconsistent plating, some dishes excellent (pear pudding) some so-so (rhubarb pudding). Wine list well selected to complement dishes, but obviously over-priced.
The Fish Shop does what it says above the door and very well. A great place to eat before or after Sadlers Wells and an enjoyable meal.
Went to Fish Shop for dinner with visiting relatives recently and found the staff very pleasant - restaurant was quite empty despite being a Saturday night but would imagine its probably busier pre-theatre? I would recommend the mussels as a starter (or main) but we all felt that our main course of sea bass was on the small side (especially for the price!). strangely the largest course of the evening was the desert which were very good so no real complaints there! Good selection of wines too
