Inspired by the famous steakhouse restaurants of Manhattan, the Hawksmoor restaurant is a carnivores' paradise. Hawksmoor’s location on London’s Commercial Street, part of the Spitalfields Market’s food hub, ensures that the restaurant welcomes a great mix of City and non-City diners. The interior is best described as "fashionable minimalism": exposed brickwork, white walls and dark wooden floorboards. The ‘dictionary-thick’ steaks are sourced from Longhorn cattle traditionally reared in North Yorkshire and supplied by über-butchers the Ginger Pig (Observer Food Monthly Producer of the Year). With 24-hours’ notice the Hawsmoor can stock almost any cut of meat you desire and cook it simply on a real charcoal grill.
