Ideally located for sightseeing and shopping – only a Manolo meander from Harrods no less – FIVE 25 offers an elegant setting in which to relax and unwind while enjoying food and drinks of a very high standard indeed. The neutral tones of the FIVE 25 dining room lend it a sophisticated, expensive air well suited to its surroundings, however the atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed, thanks in great part to the friendliness and efficiency of staff. Bold modern European food is the order of the day at FIVE 25 with creativity and flair shining through in the menu’s varied, attractively well-presented dishes. After dinner, retire to the lounge bar for coffees or cocktails or indeed to further peruse the hotel’s immaculately put together wine list.

Although early in the evening and very quiet, three of the choices made by our party from the menu were unavailable. Also, the lamb was supposed to be served with a pistacchio crust and it arrived without it. When we pointed it out, we received an apology and compensation (reduction on the next bottle of wine) so we were not too upset but it was not ideal. Overall, we all enjoyed our food but it was nothing spectacular. Without the Toptable discount, we might have felt differently about it.
We had a most enjoyable evening - very quiet restaurant, being part of a hotel on a Friday evening, which suited us for our 'annual' get together with Swiss friends, one with a serious dairy allergy. Service impeccable, allergy needs fastidiously met, and allowed to chat without being harrassed to vacate the table. Lamb strongly recommended, sirloin steak well presented & excellent; wine list okay, but nothing from South America, which was strange given the hotel is part of NN Spanish group
Five 25 at Harrington Hall is a typical hotel restaurant in terms of its ambience, but the food was wonderful, even the complimentary bruschetta to start was tasty which can sometimes be tasteless. They went to an extra effort as it was Valentines Day with starwberries dipped in chocolate to finish. The menu was lovely and the service was good.
Went for Valentines day meal. 3 course set menu was a bit limited (choice of 3 dishes per course) but the food was good and I wasn't hungry afterwards :) Nice enough, but I wouldn't go again.
FIVE 25 at Harrington Hall, was a fine experience for a valentine night and the service was excellent. It is just around the corner from Gloucester Rd Tube and well worth a visit. On arrival I thought that the evening would be quiet as there was only one other couple there but within 20mins all tables were full. The quality of food was good and the quantity was ok. The menu for the night did not have a wide choice but I and my fiance were happy with all.
