We went for coffee in the morning at Caffe Caldesi in Marylebone Lane. The Capuccino was very good as were the croissant. Later we returned for an early supper at 6.30 and the food was good but not exceptional and the service was also good.

I had lunch with 3 friends. Service in the ground floor bar was excellent. Food and wine upstairs was again excellent and we all had different dishes. The waiters joined in the humour and 2 of the party were able to practice their foreign languages. The owner and chef checked on our satisfaction with lunch offering a few war stories.

Six of us visited Caffe Caldesi in London last night for the first time & agreed afterwards we would all go again. The service, food & atmosphere were all good, but we did think the prices were a little on the high side.

We love Caffe Caldesi. Welcoming and superb service always with a smile and lovely humour. And no one can fault their amazing food either. Fresh, seasonal with layers of flavour like the pumpkin and amaretti cookie soup. Mains of veal with spinach cake, trori pasta with porcini and sea bass and beetroot raviolo were plentiful & tasty and we all wished we had more room for desert. We settled for their homemade apricot ice-cream and sorbets of passionfruit, mango and strawberry. LOVELY! Thank you.
