And the food is indeed good, authentically Italian with the usual favourites, done well, making up the main of the menu. Salads are picked from the owner’s garden while fish is delivered fresh twice a day.

Especially good fish today
Gran Paradiso in Wilton Street, London is a lovely, family-run restaurant. The food and the atmosphere are great. Highly recomended.

Excellent food with good unobtrusive service.
Good food can always be relied upon at the Gran Paradiso and last night was no exception with a delicious steak in madeira sauce and a well cooked piccata al limone. The wine list is short but well chosen and represents good value. Another attractive feature of this restaurant is the fact that the tables are well spaced and there is no need to shout in order to make oneself heard.
