Truc Vert
About Truc Vert
Truc Vert restaurant in London’s sleek Mayfair near the American Embassy and a short walk from the madness of Oxford Street almost started the restaurant-plus-deli concept. With the rustic charm of a French fisherman’s cottage, honest, unpretentious Truc Vert is named for an unspoiled Gallic beach on the southwest coast. The Medi-French menus change so frequently they’re almost spontaneous, featuring fine ingredients simply prepared that deliver vibrant flavour. Packed at lunchtime with local workers, Truc Vert goes slightly uptown in the evenings for romantic dinners with white table linens and glowing candles. The open-minded wine list features both old and new world wines with a terrific selection of organic juices from Devon. Tables on the pavement are great for people-watching and you can bundle up some goodies from the deli counter before you go. Wine tasting evenings are popular too. Truc Vert is a gastronaut’s oasis in Mayfair.

Lovely staff.
I went to Truc Vert on North Audley Street for a weekday lunch. During the pick hours, it was bustling and vibrant and then, when everyone had gone back to work, it became a lovely, cosy place to relax. The food was delicious and I'd particularly recommend their quiches. Good times!
Truc Vert is a fantastic little place. Great food. Great wine. Perfect treat for that someone who is special.
Truc Vert - I'm very fond of this restaurant and go there a lot, but not quite so good on this visit. The Christmas dinner was dry and nothing special, and the service was below par. Table location not great either! Oh well, it happens sometimes... I'll still be back.
Truc Vert - great food and fab atmosphere as always
