Not a relaxing place to have a meal. Harassed staff made for poor service. i had to ask three times for water and also for more wine. Food was ok thought I am sure the confit duck was chicken. I was glad we weer on the Top Table deal as it was not worth more.
Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and good food
Good deal at the Waterloo Bar and Kitchen - once seated service was flawless and food delicious. A few issues getting the table on time as theatre over the road was having a late start which meant other diners were not vacating their tables. But were given bread and olives to keep us going.
Pre theatre service was poor with not enough staff on a busy night, had to chase to be served and to get all our order served at once. The food was fine, although over priced for basic fair. The ambience of the restaurant was good and they have a nice area to have a drink before a meal. Considering their proximity to the Old Vic, you would think they have never heard of a pre theatre meal.
Waterloo Bar and Grill is a great place to head to after work. The food and service is always delightful and the lively atmosphere is such an added benefit!
