Toptable says about Waterloo Brasserie
The sophisticated Waterloo Brasserie, or 'WB' as it's known to its friends, is just moments from Waterloo station as well as being close to all the South Bank has to offer. Mixing classic and contemporary, WB's dining room is moody, sexy and understated, its timeless feel created by cream and black leather, strangely abstract mirrored walls and gorgeous modern light fittings. Serving food from 8am 'til late, WB is as good for that business breakfast as meeting friends for a lunch or a post theatre dinner. The classic, French inspired menu is mouthwatering and comforting all at once while keeping that WB sophistication in mind.

Waterloo Brasserie serves up reliable and tasty food. On this vosot we started with the caulifowver soup and the French Onion Soup. Both were good examples. Mains were Moules with Fries, Belgian style, and the house burger. Very well prepared and presented.
This is the second time that I have been to The Waterloo Brasserie, and I was a little more won over by it than the last. The service has improved and the food a lot better. Try the Mojito's at the bar - very good. I had the scallops for starter and the Bavette steak for my main. I must admit, the steak was very tasty. The food is reasonably priced, but be careful if you're having cocktails, as they all add up. Our bill for 2 came in at £60 each, but it was worth it.
We use Waterloo Brasserie for most of our business lunches and staff events as apart from the convenient location for us, it is a great restaurant. I'm going back for lunch today.
I tried the snapper in passion fruit sauce as a gamble (fish and fruit sauce??), but it was DELICIOUS! I also highly recommend their miniature cheesecake.
Really nice place to go, great atmosphere, would definitely go again. Food and service very good
