Le Deuxieme in London was a great choice for a meal to celebrate my husband becoming a member of the ICE. Lovely food,good atmosphere and great service. Very good all round.
Lovely food, friendly service good value for money.
My wife & I dined @ Le Deuxieme pre theatre last evening. In general the experience was most enjoyable. The quality of the food was excellent (tho for my taste it could have been a little hotter). The service was acceptable (the Maitre de especially welcoming) but the other staff a little less so. The restaurant benefits greatly from being neither too crowded or too noisy, leading to a very pleasant ambience. My only caveat would be that the desserts (mousse & brule) lacked a lightness of touch.
We had a most pleasant pre-theatre meal at La Deuxieme, Covent Garden. The service was efficient and friendly and food and wine (lovely Cotes du Rhone) both good. We had intended to eat from the set menu which was very reasonably priced but unfortunately the choices didn't excite us at all. So chose starters then duck cassoulet and belly pork from the a la carte. Both very lovely but not a bargain, especially with the 15% service charge, always annoying. Despite that a reliable dining venue.
Enjoyed Le Deuxieme in Covent Garden very much. nice & chilled atmosphere. friendly staff & the food was perfect. Great price too, very recommended
