Toptable says about Fairuz
Fairuz is named in tribute to Lebanon's most famous chanteuse -- a sweet, dotty idea that, if copied, could lead to Cliff Richards the chippie or Madonna the burger bar. One of London's more relaxed and intimate Lebanese restaurants, Fairuz still observes all the traditions: white tablecloths, formal service, the instant appearance of olives and chilled salad veg upon arrival. But the decor, cooking, and staff are all pleasantly flamboyant. The decor is warm yellow with turquoise touches. There's a general bonhomie among the staff and clientele. And the cooking bursts with Eastern Mediterranean flavours -- old favourites like tabouleh, foul moukaaka, and moutabal do new dance steps on your tongue. Good vegetarian selection, of course, and complimentary fruit and baklava with coffee.

I have booked Fairuz on a number of occasions for my directors who always highly recommend it so when I had lunch with a colleauge there this week we were not disappointed. I will go as far as to say it was excellent! The service is great and so was the food, timewise it worked well for us as a working lunch. I would go again and again and not tire of this lovely little restaurant, I would also highly recommend Fairuz to any one of my friends or colleagues.
a wonderful meal, really helpful staff that guided us through the menu and explained every course as it arrived - the mint tea and baklava to finish we're fantasic - Thank You!
Service was courteous & friendly and food was tasty.
Fairuz serves consistently good food, freshly prepared. Lovely for lunch but would prefer to linger over a long dinner.
I love Fairuz. The perfect after-shopping/on way home dinner. The bread is ethnic and fresh, the fallafel starter is so fresh, one of the best in London. Just really really tasty with an interesting twist. And the wine list is good and not over priced. If I lived nearer, it could easily become my local! On this occasion I asked that they look out for my mother as I might be late - when I arrived, she was sitting happily with their vegetable basket and dips, sipping happily at a house red!
