Charlotte's Place

About Charlotte's Place

Set on a quiet corner overlooking West London’s lovely Ealing Common, Charlotte's Place restaurant has long offered the locals, who make up the vast majority of the loyal regulars, a high-quality dining experience. Once a traditional holdout, the airy interior is now firmly modern and minimalist – walls are cream, wood is dark, leather chairs long-backed, and the kitchen open plan. Charlotte’s Place kitchen staff add their talented touch to classics of British and French cuisine on a tempting European menu. You can't go wrong with the céviche of wild sea trout starter, while the new season lamb rump with fondant potato, minted garden peas and Madeira jus is excellent. And Charlotte’s Place offers a super selection of dishes on their smaller-sized fixed price menus that include a great set lunch deal. The short and sweet cocktail list covers the necessities nicely. Charlotte's Place has introduced a new Sunday lunch menu that we also highly recommend.

Charlotte's Place in Ealing is a lovely relaxed experience. The food was super, the waiting staff mostly attentive. Only grumble is they seem to have a blind spot when it comes to wine lists. We had to ask to see a wine list twice (after a ten minute wait) and noticed that the table next to us also had to ask to see one. Just give a wine list to every table!!!

Charlotte's Place 16 St Matthews Road, Ealing, London, Just off Ealing Common in a lovely setting makes for an intimate experience. Food was fantastic, perfectly cooked and nicely presented too. Enjoyed the experience overall and would go again although we missed the earlly evening deal so it was a bit expensive.

Charlotte's Place in Ealing is a lovely place to eat, but on this occassion service was poor. The food was as usual, excellent. Unfortunately we were downstairs next to a large group and the accoustics were ear-bleedingly loud to the point that we could not hear a single thing. Service was extremely slow and we were told that we would have to wait 40-45 minutes for our mains because we didn't order a starter (??) and it took 20 minutes to get our bill. A shame, because it is usually so good.
