We had dinner at chez Liline and every thing was really good, I had crab (very messy and you need to know how to eat it) and it was a bit too spicy for my taste. My boyfriend had a fish curry and that was v good too. Wouldn't recommend for meat lovers as I don't seem to recall any meat in the menu.
Once again another fantastic meal.......fish cooked to perfection, service very friendly. We will be back soon.
lovely food , lovely people
Chez Liline, Finsbury Park, London, N4 3PX The service was poor. One person serving. Only 3 tables used during the time we were there. The resuarant was cold. We were the first customers for the evening and the ladies toilet bowl was not clean. Some food on the menu was not available and we waited a long time for our meal. There was no other customers at the beginning of the evening but we had to ask for the drinks order to be taken. Disappointing dining ecperience.
Chez Liline is somewhere I've been intending to visit for years, heard a lot of positive reviews for this fish restaurant. Finally paid a visit on an early Saturday night. Almost empty when we arrived. Service was friendly. My starter of scallops in a spicy mango sauce was tasty and quite hot. My main of grouper in a Mauritian sauce was more than spicy, so hot I couldn't really appreciate the taste of the fish. Overall I was disappointed - fish played seconf fiddle to the hot spices.
