Pizza at The Dickens Inn
About Pizza at The Dickens Inn
Those who have visited London’s St Katherines Dock will remember the Dickens Inn’s famous three-storey timber exterior lined with balconies and colourful flower boxes. An iconic setting with spectacular views and origins that date back to 1799, this former 18th century spice warehouse is home to the Dicken Inn’s special Pizza restaurant. Located on the second floor, Pizza at the Dickens Inn is famous for its pizzas, pasta and salads and is a popular spot for casual lunches and family nights out, and is also a great place to bring visitors from out of town. Decorated with wooden furniture and blackboard menus, Pizza has stunning views of St Katherines Dock and is a great place for parties. The Tavern downstairs is convenient for pre/post dinner drinks, and the restaurant also boasts an impressive wine list with both old and new world selections from Spain, Australia, New Zealand and Italy.

The pizza as ever was delicious at Dickens Inn. The restaurant was unusually empty for 7pm on a Friday which detracted a little from the atmosphere, not sure why as this is one of the best pizzas in London in my opinion! Great for an easy Friday night option on the way home from work, no doubt with the riverside location will get more and more busy as the warm weather kicks in.
As lovely as usual!
The pizza at Dickens Inn St Katharines Dock was very tasty, as usual. The service was a little slow which was surprising given the restaurant was only half full. Overall though great value.
nice location
I was having a rather important date and so I chose the Pizzeria which I've tried once before. That evening my date and I shared a Meat Feast Pizza and a Cannelloni, both of which were nicely cooked. The waitress was very sweet and the service was fantastic. The Pizzeria was rather quiet but it was probably just because it was a Tuesday. Plus apparently Jude Law was dining at the Grill upstairs. Lol. Nevertheless the environment was still very lovely and both of us enjoyed the evening as the meal went well. Thanks a lot, Dickens Inn!
