Housing an art gallery, a magnificent medieval great hall, a light-filled library and other gems, this Grade I-listed building is one of London’s outstanding historic landmarks. Built between 1411 and 1440, it’s where the city’s ruling merchant classes held court and amended laws. Today, it’s home to the City of London Corporation and hosts official banquets and corporate events.
