About Avista
Formerly the Brian Turner Mayfair, Avista is a new Italian restaurant created by chef Michele Granziera.
Toptable says about Avista
Mayfair meets Madison Avenue is how we'd describe the dining room at Avista, situated on Grosvenor Square in central London. A moneyed melange of media moguls and well-coiffed socialites have claimed this brand new fine dining institution as their gastronomic stomping ground, and head chef Michele Granziera – formerly of Zafferano – has delighted London's food lovers with his sexy rustic Italian menu. With exposed brick walls, a natural beige and cream colour scheme and an abundance of fresh flowers, Avista is suitable for business meetings and discreet liaisons of the dangereux kind, and signature dishes include the Sicilian prawns with fresh oregano, and the Fiorentina steak with bone marrow and balsamic.

Avista is great for a business meal or a date. The staff are courteous and the food is tasty, although the portions we had of the past main and dessert were on the small side. Good wine list. I liked this restaurant overall and will go again.
The service and fod at Avista were the stand outs Wait staff were polite and attentive but the maitre de was excellent and very friednly. Prices were reasonabel given it is in Mayfair. More coudl be done with creatig some ambience in the space over time.
Food very good, Excellent presentation. Verey tasty. good size portions. Perhaps they should consider having a lunch time prix fixe.
Avista was pleasant, great service with very good food but a touch pricey, also a little uninspiring flat ambience around the place. Amazing mushroom pasta dish. Lovely comforting gnocchi and baby lamb stew. Seafood courses needed seasoning.
