Amber Bar restaurant in the City of London right next to Moorgate tube has location, style and crowd-pleasing food all under one roof. Amber Bar is a seamlessly stylish space in warm yellowy tones with leather booths, parquet flooring, cool lighting and an international ambience. It’s a favourite for its very reasonable lunch menu that focuses on gourmet sandwiches, amazing burgers, fajitas, great salads, and classics of British cuisine like fish and chips. In the evening, the menu shrinks to nibbles and shared plates to accompany the fab cocktails and drinks menu. The wine list is short but takes in many regions and styles of wines with a great selection of champagnes if you have a triumph to celebrate. Inside the Amber Bar, you’ll also find the Milk Bar, Opal Bar and Groovy Wonderland 70’s themed bar with the dance floor right out of Saturday Night Live, so you can dine, drink and dance under one roof.

Amber Bar, near Moorgate, London Perfectly decent bar, and suitably quiet for a business lunch for 2. They didn't know much about the booking, but it didn't matter as they had plenty of spaces. Its obviously geared towards "after work", as they had to show me to my table by walking over the dance floor! Nevertheless, good food which arrived quickly and no hovering waiters throughout.
As always, great food served by really friendly staff at a totally competitive price, very pleased overall.
Restaurant had no record of my booking - but had lots of tables free. They squeezed all the diners in one corner - very odd. Food was fine having said that and the price reasonable. Staff were fine but when paying did the bit on leaving the gratuity bit on the credit card paymenbt terminal on yes/no when the service had already been included on the bill - naughty.
Very happy with food portions, flavour and presentation. Excellent value for money in a great spacious space. The tables were well laid out. Overall, great value.
Amber at Citypoint, London is just great. Had lunch there yesterday; food was flavoursome, portions were generous, service was first-class, prices pitched just right for a working lunch. Fantastic table, all tables are well spaced out, allowing privacy. Relaxing interior.
