really tatsy food and great value, we love this place
Great food, poor service. The food is very good with a good range and good prices however staff are rude and unorganised.
The drunken Monkey is a hidden gem. From the outside it looks like any ordinary bar, but step inside and it's a funky chinese bazaar with a hidden restaurant area through the back and downstairs. Don't go here if you're looking for somewhere quiet and romantic. But certainly do go here if you are looking for a place with an upbeat atmosphere and great food. Highly reccommended!
Always a great atmosphere but never great service. Had to ask for everything from first drinks to food orders to more drinks to the bill. Shame really as if the service was more attentive we could spend more time talking instead of trying to flag down a waiter, it wasn't even that busy.
Drunken monkey sits within a lively area of the happening eastend and does its bit to contribute. Delicious food and cosy athmosphere
