Dulwich Wood House

About Dulwich Wood House

The Dulwich Wood House is a solid landmark as well as a pub, which boasts historical touches. Its name is derived from the ancient Dulwich Woode, loved by Byron when attending school in the area, the Dulwich was designed and built a century ago by Joseph Paxton, who was responsible for the Crystal Palace which stood down the road until the fire of 1936. It has a beer garden and children's play area, perfect for the summer. It's a Young's pub and so has the brewery's usual range of beers and ales at the bar, along with a decent menu of reasonably priced standard pub dishes and daily changing specials.
