Chaopraya Eat-Thai

About Chaopraya Eat-Thai

Chaopraya Eat-Thai restaurant in St Christopher’s Place, one of London’s most charming pedestrian streets just off Oxford Street, is part of an award-winning group of authentic Thai restaurants. Clearly the location makes it a perfect restaurant to choose for weekday business lunches or post-shopping reviving suppers. This lovely little restaurant is decorated opulently with gold and silver panels, gilded mirrors, and vibrantly-coloured wallpaper. The décor is highlighted with intriguing Thai and Cambodian artefacts. There’s a second dining room at Chaopraya downstairs, a spacious lower-ground where wait staff zoom around between tables and diners tuck in with a contented hum. The Thai menu is enormous, but that means lots of choice for you. Most people adore the scallop curry paste, or one of the two ways of having sea bass or lobster. You definitely shouldn't miss the pad Thai Chaopraya, which can be served with soft-shell crabs.

Amazing food, amazing service as always. Beautiful atmosphere and always willing to meet all your needs and expectations. I will visit again and again and again. Try the chicken and cashew with some coconut rice. Perfect!

1st Date at Chaopraya Eat-Thai and went on reviews suggesting good food. Well, food is good, service is good. Prices are high though. For what you get, the value is not great and we both agreed that better options are available at half the price in many restaurants around London. It is posh Thai so if thats what you're looking for you're in luck. If you are looking to eat good Thai food in a relaxed environment there is better value out there. Food and service great though.
