Chiswell Street Dining Rooms, London, EC1 Bar area was pretty noisy and we asked to be moved from our first table to much further away from the bar, which happened without fuss and with a smile from the friendly waitress. The set menu was excellent value for money and the food was tasty, well presented, hot and served in a timely manner. The decor and ambience (once away from the bar are) is nice, low-key and under-stated elegance. Would definitely come back!
I went to Chiswell Street Dining Rooms in Moorgate to take advantage of the offer. However, on arrival decided to opt for the a la carte menu. The starter and main were delicious, but the pudding was bland and disappointing.
Great food and great atmosphere
Chiswell Street Dining Rooms, EC1 Staff friendly and welcoming again. This was my second visit. Had requested the 20.12 menu, but was given the a la carte instead. Happily sampled the wider menu options Great crab and lobster tart to start (a good size, and flavoursome), followed by the Chateaubriand, rare. Lovely cut and cooked well, but wish they had left us the cloche, as it quickly got cold :o( Will return.
Had dinner at the Chiswell Street Dining Rooms in London last night. Great ambience, food was very good and customer service extremely attentive.
