PASA
About PASA
PASA is a Nepalese restaurant with a difference – located between Kentish Town and Holloway on London’s busy Brecknock Road, PASA bears a sub-title: Friends Forever. It’s an appropriate statement somehow because this unassuming dining room does appear to become a sort of friend to those who visit it, such is the welcoming atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. PASA is a restaurant at which you’ll be treated as one of the family, where everything that you might want or need will be seen to and where you’ll feel at home the moment you arrive. The dining room is neatly and simply modern with touches of tradition in the carved furniture and Nepalese crafts. The food though is PASA’s real selling point. In the kitchen, the restaurant’s chefs painstakingly grind and combine their spices by hand, demand the best ingredients for their Himalayan inspired dishes, some traditional others with a contemporary creative twist and their accompanying selection of familiar Indian favourites.

Pasa, in Brecknock Road North London is a pleasant Asian restaurant. Advertising itself as Authentic Nepalese, it's food is actually similar to Indian, but not in a cliche way. We had a very enjoyable evening with friends, sharing butter chicken, lamb, shrimps (hardly Nepalese!) and spinach, with rice and peshwari nan - all tasty. The atmosphere was unobtrusive, meaning relaxed and comfortable. It's not over-busy; so, yes, I recommend it.
Fantastic new little Nepalese restaurant, it's out of the way but definitely worth checking out, great food, very friendly service, would definitely recommend to anyone!
