With its rich red velvet banquette seating and starched white table clothes this great institution has a self confident, classic feel. The menu full of traditional French favourites with Italian dishes, some of which have been given a lighter, modern twist.

The food at Elenas on Charlotte street is very good and is reasonably priced with the top table deal. However... The service and front of house is so unfriendly and unhelpful it does make you wonder whethrt they want your custom! That said I have eaten there three times and it has been the same on each occasion. A smile would be nice.
Just like walking into a French brasserie I thought. The dishes at Elena's L'Etolie was well presented and the taste didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was lively but not loud. Sitting on the cushioned seats with signed pictures of celebs made a welcome distraction to the view of the next table's dinner. Great value with the TT offer.
Elena's L'Etoile, London. Very good value on the Toptable 50% offer. Nice sized portions. Maintains a "quaint" French bistro feel.
Really loved Elena's L'Etoile - good service, lovely food and nice atmosphere - what more could you want! The 50% of food offer was well worth it.
Second visit to Elena's Etoile in Charlotte Street, W1. As before food and service very good. The atmosphere was jolly and good to see that there were so many regulars. the only problem is that the place could do with some refreshing up in the decoration department there is still one corner where the wall looks awful. I would still like the character of the place to shine through but a bit of TLC would go a long way
