Toptable says about Bianco Nero

Bianco Nero restaurant, right in the heart of London's Hammersmith, may be modern Italian but specializes in old-fashioned great service. The dining room is a sleek concoction of cool white floors, tables and seating that softens the look with a few silkscreens of herby plants made graphically large. What's authentic about this relative newcomer is its dedication to fresh, inventive flavours - not your usual spaghetti shop. For instance, signature dishes include pan-fried king scallops with celeriac puree and pancetta, bianco nero sautéed calamari and squid ink, trio of stuckling pig with cavolo nero, and pud of white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. The cheesecakes are sin city, generally, and the wood-fired pizzas superb any time. Downstairs lounge is a warm local scene.

My friend and I both thought Bianco Nero is fantastic - the food, service, VFM, ambience and the loos! I rate it as a perfect 10 and will definitely be going back again! Highly recommended.

Bianco Nero is a great place that opened up in early 2008. The decor is nice. The staff are friendly. The offers are good.

Bianco Nero offers beautiful decor with friendly and attentive staff. The quality of food was lovely, just a tad disappointed with the range of choice - although 2 courses for £15 is very good VFM as the choice is from the a la carte menu not a separate set menu. Would go back!

Excellent food, well presented, and very good value with the Toptable offer. Service generally good, but spoiled by one picece of complete stupidity. The offer gave us two courses from the a la carte for £15. There was also a pre-theatre menu of two courses for £14.50. My daughter asked if she could have a starter from the pre-theatre and a main from the a la carte. Sorry, said the waiter, that's not allowed. A place with so little concept of service may not last long so for good food go quickly
