Pre-theatre menu at Roux at The Landau seemed at first glance rather pricey at £47.50. Closer inspection revealed that it included a bottle of decent wine, mineral water, coffee and petit fours, which made it a much more attractive deal. Food was of a standard that one would expect; clean, distinct flavours in combinations that worked. Service was extremely good; efficiency with a very human face. Overall, an enjoyable evening, certainly worth a repeat visit.
The usual excellent standard of service on this visit to the Roux at the Landau. The food was perfectly cooked and presented. While certainly not cheap, if you are looking for that venue for a special occasion, I would recommend it.
I booked for my Boss to have a business lunch. He enjoyed the service, atmosphere and was great for what he wanted.
It's a little on the expensive side - but you do get Micheling-star quality of food, and their in-house champagne is amazing (@ £65 a bottle). Overall the food was excellent, especially the rabbit , and the atmosphere is nice, if a little private.
The food and the service was really good, although we did have to wait 15 min after the main course plates were taken away before the dessert menu was given. It was a little disappointed that some of the guests were really dressed down to the point that they were looking quite scruffy. It would be nice tio keep the standards up with a minimum dress code.
