About Fig Bistro

The neighbourhood bistro has a whole new look thanks to the Fig Bistro, Islington’s most charming and enticing restaurant. Set in the much sought after Barnsbury area of London, the Fig Bistro is a relaxed and informal space, beautifully appointed to reflect the modern tastes of the stylish North London set. It’s not difficult to see why booking is absolutely essential here at the cosy Fig Bistro, indeed so beloved is the Fig name round these parts that even on traditionally ‘quiet’ days the bistro finds itself full of hungry diners, eager to sample Chef Patron Christoffer Hruskova’s delectable menu of simple restaurant favourites with their strong French inspiration, Mediterranean flavours and splash of British tradition.

Excellent food and service. Prices a little high but not exterminate. My only criticism would be the lack of stake knives.

We passed fig last year and kept meaing to go for a meal. I'm sorry we waited so long. The food and the wine were excellent and the service really made the evening for us. The ambiance was wonderful, welcoming and warm without losing any style points. Would recommend to anyone.

Food was good but not outstanding. It was bit overpriced. There are better restaurants out there for the money.

We arrived early, around 7 and the place started filling up quickly. There was only one waiter, so towards the end of the meal the service was a bit slow, but the food came quickly and we even got a complementary soup to try out. the food was nice and well-cooked, but it wasn't extra-ordinary. Overall , we enjoyed the experience and would recommend the restaurant to anyone.
