The atmospheric, brick-vaulted restaurant in the crypt of St. John’s provides a wonderful environment to enjoy a meal or glass of wine before or after a concert. The Restaurant is open weekday lunchtimes and on concert evenings only from 17.30 on weekdays and from an hour and a half before the start of a concert on Saturday, Sunday or public holidays.
The menu is created using mainly British produce and seasonal ingredients and changes according to availability. For those with less time to linger over lunch, there’s a light buffet with dishes of the day, sandwiches and a selection of salads.
