Foxtrot Oscar
About Foxtrot Oscar
Foxtrot Oscar – Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in smartest Chelsea in southwest London - has been an adored local favourite since 1980. That was a decade of mad indulgence and this stylishly louche dining and drinking den was a divine upmarket hangout. Gordon Ramsay spotted it in 1998 when he opened his own flagship restaurant a few doors and away and found his own staff chilling out there most evenings after hours of hard graft at the pass. He bought it, refurbished both dining room and menu and sprinkled it with Ramsay charm. Now Foxtrot Oscar is an informal upmarket bistro with sleek, warm décor, walls hung with fabulous monochrome photography, a chilled ambience and relaxed but professional service. The place oozes urbane charm and is filled with well-heeled locals who adore its deceptively simple menu. You’ll find the best of modern British dining with fine ingredients and creative touches bringing it all to life in comforting yet sophisticated dishes, including the most tempting puds in SW3.

Foxtrot Oscar for Monday lunch. Casual relaxed atmosphere, pub-style food with good quality. We had roast pork belly and a beef burger for mains. Pork belly was good but slightly heavy for lunch. Excellent melt-in-the-mouth burger, beef was of top quality. Waitress suggested the beef used for their steak is even better, may have to return for that!
What a fabulous evening we had at Foxtrot Oscar, the food was amazing the service impeccable and we shall certainly be going again.
Fantastic atmosphere and delicious food
Foxtrot Oscar in Chelsea was a fantastic experience. A lovely cozy little venue, the food was outstanding and the service was brilliant. An expensive meal for us but well worth it!
Gordon's hole-in-the wall Chelsea offering. Took the £20 Sunday lunch offer. Don't go downstairs - bit grim. Upstairs is tight and service is just about pleasant but slow (maybe shortage of personnel in the kitchen?) but food is great. I question using a sirloin steak as 'roast beef' when a rolled rib kills it stone dead. No sure one would go back with the Thomas Cubbit Group gastropubs in the area dominating. But OK.
