Bollywood Brasserie

About Bollywood Brasserie

Located at the very doors of East London’s Excel Centre, Bollywood Brasserie is a modern Indian restaurant in lavish surroundings. The sophisticated waterfront dining room, decorated in a slickly put together monochrome scheme, is comfortably appointed, combining a chilled out vibe with a high end look and impeccable service. It’s a generously spaced dining room with plenty of elbow room but still a lively, bustling atmosphere appropriate to the brasserie name as well as superb al fresco dining. Occasional events including live music and dance provide an additional aspect to your evening, lively entertainment ideal for those special meals. With a firmly Indian flavour, Bollywood Brasserie’s menu brings together traditional Indian restaurant favourites with creative additions including great seafood dishes and a more varied than usual collection of sides and starters, plus noodles with a South Asian flavour. A good and varied selection of wines, beers and spirits are offered at the bar.

Bollywood Brasserie at Excel had very tasty food - particularly liked the Paneer Pakora and Aloo Tiki Chat starters. Great value with Top Table 50% off a la carte. Staff friendly. Toilets clean but cold!

Went to Bollywood Brasserie right by the Excel exhibition centre in London with a friend. It took ages for our drinks to arrive and the buffet we were offered has very limited options considering the cost, no fish only chicken and vegetarian dishes. Will not visit again.

The Bollywood Brasserie at Excel West was a very pleasant experience. The food was tastey and there was more of it than I would have expected. The service was a bit slow at times and the staff were not as attentive as they could have been - however, do not let this put you off. The cutlery, on the other hand, was awful. It was thin, light and cheap - I'm sure my knife almost cut in half when I tried to cut some meat. All that said, the food was nice and toilets very clean!
