Local Data Company says about The George Inn
The George Inn is situated on the south side of the River Thames near London Bridge. The George is now the only surviving galleried coaching inn in London. There are several bars on the ground floor which serve bar food, but there is also a restaurant which used to be the bedchambers in the old coaching days. Today, it offers an a la carte menu serving traditional British cuisine and can cater for private parties of up to 100 guests upon request. The George Inn Address

Reviews of The George Inn
Access in London review of The George Inn
A National Trust property which is the only traditional galleried coaching inn left in London. Cobbled approach with pub tables outside. Entrance to the Southwark bar via -1 step, and there's an awkward turn because of a staircase just 120cm in front. Most chair users could probably manage with just a little help. The bar to the left is flat, but has a small step further in. It is very atmospheric.
