Massala Hut

About Massala Hut

The Massala Hut restaurant - located near London's central Euston station and Regent's Park - has undergone a recent refurbishment, and has become a popular place for business lunches and after-work curries with friends and colleagues. The restaurant's new interior - with Italian tiled floors, chocolate leather seating and pale green walls – is a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, and the fully licensed bar is perfect for pre/post dinner drinks. The Massala Hut is famous for its authentic curries – favourites including the Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Korma and Chicken Tikka Massala. The extensive menu features plenty of sharing dishes that are perfect for parties, all which can be washed down with a nice cold Cobra or Tiger beer.

Nice ambience and place but not to warm environment and service. The food was not much tasty and cooked value for money was also not good.

I've had mixed experiences here, and the last visit was not the best. Food is tasty but the service can be a bit hit and miss.

As during previous visits, the food at Massala Hut is very tasty, but the service seems to be really variable. Much as the waiters are friendly, they seem to get very confused about the orders. One of our starters was wrong, and they completely forgot part of our main course. In conclusion, it's good value for money and worth a visit for the food, but if streamlined, efficient service is very important to you, I wouldn't go here.

An average curry - taste was ok, mains were ok Jheenga Amritsari at 12.95 - i expected more than 4 prawns, tasted very tomatoey, mutter panneer was awful avoid, jeera chicken ok, karahi lamb ok. starters - very small and nothing great, butterfly king prawn, was actually just one prawn, mixed kebab platter was 4 items, 1 of each which was disappointing and would've been nice to know as we were sharing! meat samosas below average. Service not great and still £43 after 50% was not worth the money
