Toptable says about Valentina

With its distinctive blue awning on Upper Richmond Road, Valentina Fine Foods is a gourmet delicatessen and café that has been an East Sheen institution with local food lovers since 1991. Open all day, Valentina is a beehive of epicurean activity, and the deli counter sells everything from fresh hams and salami to gooey cheeses, antipasti, a variety of olive oils, vinegars and fine wines. Whether you're looking for a good cup of coffee or an authentic Italian meal, the restaurant at Valentina is renowned for its top quality rustic-style cooking and we highly recommend the pacceri pasta cooked with a wild boar tomato ragu served with pecorino cheese.

This is a good Italian restaurant with a reasonable selection on the menu. I especially like the shop where I bought things to take home.

I will frequent again as I like the food alot but the service is a bit slow. It took quite some time before our plates were collected. I also gave up waiting for a bill and went to the shop to pay instead of waiting at the table much longer.

We had been recommended this busy Italian deli/cafe so we went for lunch. Large bowls of steaming hot bean soup were welcome and very tasty on such a cold day. My chicken dish was excellent but my Wife's cod fishcakes were far too salty. However, we will definitely visit again.

Tucked away behind the successful deli of the same name, Valentina's restaurant is attracting an appreciative local clientele. You can choose any bottle from their wide range and pay a £3.75 corkage fee, or they serve good Italian wines by the glass. Portion sizes are generous and service from the handsome young Italian waiters is charming and personal. They do a good deal on Sunday lunch as well. Am looking forward to trying it out.
