Goya Pimlico
About Goya Pimlico
Very popular Spanish restaurant in Pimlico. Extremely pretty with friendly staff, jolly atmosphere and lots of delicious tapas. Attracts politicos and business types for lunch and more locals at the weekend. Also good for groups and you can sit outside in the summer. What's cooking? Squid in ink sauce.

4 of us met for saturday lunch at Goya in Pimlico, London. We had a long leisurely lunch starting with the house Manzalilla sherry which was excellent and then lots of delicious tapas. Would particularly recommend the spinach & chickpeas, the serrano ham and the stuffed aubergine. We had white Rioja wine - Marques Caceres which was also really good. The service was excellent - we were left to take our time to order, but when we had, the food came very quickly. Will definitely go again soon.
Good quality food well served. Goya in Pimlico is a lovely local restaurant and I won't hesitate to visit again. Tapas are large, so go light if you want mains or skip them altogether. The special was leg of baby lamb. A table of five Spaniards next to us had it and were very pleased. Desserts, if you really must, aren't a forte, save for Tarta de Santiago - yum.
We were greeted in a very friendly fashion, and took our time going through the long menu without being hassled. we decided on a tapas meal, and ordered a variety of dishes. Where there were overlaps, the waiter gently pointed this out to ensure that it was deliberate (it was in one case; not in the other). The dishes proved generous and flavoursome. Wine by the glass was of a decent quality and the whole meal a pleasant experience. Good value for money.
Fantastic
Lovely again..
