Green's Restaurant and Oyster Bar

About Green's Restaurant and Oyster Bar

Green's is practically an institution, and one that we cherish. From its clubby yet relaxed decor and ambience, to the shining freshness of its fish, Green's is unique among London restaurants. Fish dishes are perfectly cooked, whether practically unadorned, like grilled Dover sole, or beautifully sauced, like seared sea bass with saffron and fennel broth. Carnivores will delight in the highland venison, grilled fillet of beef, the bangers and mash or steak tartare. All rounded off with classic (nursery – remove) puds, blistering cheese board, and a really special wine list.

Green's is available for exclusive hire on New Year's Eve, bespoke menus and entertainment will be arranged.

Took a LONG time to get food, even though the restaurant was not full. Menu is limited, food is good, but not spectacular. There are other options nearby that would probably be just as good for the same or less money.

Typical 'St James' institution. My wife (Spanish) said it was the best fish n' chips she had ever had. I though the smoked haddock (Smoked Haddock Parker Bowels - see I told you!) could have fresher/tastier.

Greens Restaurant in London is a cosy place to meet for lunch. The menu is uncomplicated with a wine list to match - both good.
