Toptable says about Greig's
Quietly nestled on a mews between Berkeley Square and Bond Street, Greig's has a reputation as London's best steak restaurant. Founded by Alistair Greig in 1959, its philosophy remains: the best ingredients cooked simply. Recent popular additions to the menu include such great British staples as shepherd's pie and roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Sure, they may cost three times as much than at your local café, but you're paying for the finest here. Floor to ceiling oak-panelling, thick white linen, £1000 Rothschild wines, this is typical Mayfair, naturally attracting well-off 40-something Americans with a weakness for family-butcher Scotch steaks. Sat
slicing into your steak, should you wonder how many wine bottles that line the restaurant walls, the answer is around 3,000 - most of them French, all seriously good. We leave you with another plus point: not a table-turning place, book a table at Greig's and you've bought it for the night. How civilised.

Grreigs continues to be consistent in offering excellent set menus (for steak lovers) along with very attentive service.
Always happy to return.
Greigs is very good valule for the set menu they offer which is three course, tea and coffee for £12.95 it even includes service. They werent able to offer us any decaff tea (given up caffiene for lent!) which was disappointing, but the chips are amazing. Nice inside and great value but a couple of disappointing points - sediment in the wine, soup starter wasnt amazing.
My Girlfriend and I went to Grieg's on Valentine's Day. We were sat in the area upstairs which had just 4 tables for couples which made it romantic and intimate. There was a set menu with a small number of good quality dishes. I had the salmon for starter and my girlfriend the deep fried brie, both were lovely and the portions were huge. The steaks were very popular, but we both had the lobster for main. I would recommend Grieg's for a romantic night out - expensive but good. 4/5
Been to Grieg's before, very good, friendly staff and a great wine list, pretty pricy but fabulous vintages. I had a delicious steak which I'd highly recommend. A definite great find tucked away off Berkerly Square. Pub next door is excellent as well.
Booked a business dinner in Greig's Restaurant for my Boss for four, the food was very good and the ambience also was good but the wine was very expensive. My Boss however said she would use again and I got a few browny points for choosing a good Restaurant.
