Vasco and Piero's Pavillion
About Vasco and Piero's Pavillion
For decades, Vasco and Piero's Pavillion restaurant on Poland Street in London’s Soho has been blending the best of traditional and modern Italian cooking and service into a seamless whole, creating a restaurant that many loyal diners consider their own very special place. The décor is old fashioned and traditional with just a few works of art and flowers for a touch of colour. The service is discretion itself, which is why you’ll sometimes spot A-listers having a quietly contented meal with friends. And because of its Soho location, Vasco and Piero’s Pavilion is popular with the media and cinema industry. The menu at Vasco and Piero’s Pavilion is mostly Umbrian and changes twice daily. Try carpaccio of fresh tuna and avocado to start, and roast filet of pork with cherry tomatoes and fresh herbs. All pastas are homemade on site. Who knows? You may find yourself becoming a regular here, too.

A limited lunchtime menu with small portions but enjoyable nevertheless
Vasco & Pieros has a nice buzz about it. this is supported by a menu which is very Italian but bringing out the regional emphasis of Umbria. we took friends and we all enjoyed our food. the wine list is short but provides interesting Italian shoices with good support if you want help to make a choice. We will go again and take our friends too.
Nice atmosphere, not stuffy in any way and very comfortable. Service was charming though notceably slow to top on wine. Pre-theatre menu offers good value for money but I wouldn't pay full price for the food. An above average Italian restaurant but not memorable.
Highly recommended by a friend, our lunch fully justified the advice. The Puglian mozzarella was excellent as was the roast duck with fennel pollen. Although the final bill was expensive - around £135 including service - we had three glasses of wine and coffee. Well worth another visit.
Vasco and Piero's Pavillion - Poland Street London 14th feb 2012 The food and service were brilliant, and id highy recommend going. the only down side to this place is the toilets. Both the stairs down to the toilets and the toilets themselves are grubby and could do with a good scrub. Having said this, the food makes up for his lack, and as i was not dining in the rubby areas mentioned i did not mind.
