The Half Moon offers a wide range of live music to cater for all tastes, six nights a week and a comedy night on Sunday. The emphasis is on new, up and coming bands. It has a friendly atmosphere in newly refurbished surroundings. They serve a selection of traditional English dishes and also have a big screen TV showing major sporting events on in addition to a pool table and a juke box. Seating on the terrace area is provided, weather permitting.

Featuring Ray Jackson (Lindisfarne), Doug Morter (Albion Band, Magna Carta) and Jerry Donahue (Fairport Convention, Fotheringay), the group promise to "go back to basics", performing "great hits and long forgotten ditties", in an acoustic format.

    A singer songwriter collective who formed in 2009 after being invited to play the annual Fanfare Festival in Nashville. ahab returned to London and decided to make the new line-up permanent, they spent two months busking in east London, which is where their unique sound took shape - four part harmonies accompanying extremely accomplished song writing.

    Albert Lee's country music and rock pedigree stretches back over more than 40 years. He has performed with many of the greats in country and rock, including Joe Cocker, Emmylou Harris, Eric Clapton and the Everly Brothers. As well as being a top guitarist, he is also a piano player and singer. His new band comprises some of the most respected rock 'n' roll and country players in Britain. They won a Grammy Award in 2002.
