Hardy's Brasserie and Wine Bar
About Hardy's Brasserie and Wine Bar
With over 20 years as a home away from home for many customers, this tranquil neighbourhood gem is definitely one for the little black book. There are three areas to suit the mood: an intimate restaurant with white linen, an informal candlelit brasserie or private rooms, all offering a warm, comfortable Parisian-style decor. During nicer weather there are also romantic outside tables - perfect for canoodling over a glass of wine or two. Menus change every two weeks to reflect the seasons and offer the best of the best of modern British/European cuisine. Starters could include everything from smoked sea trout salad with horseradish dressing to leek, almond and Parmesan tart. Old favourites such as fish and chips with pea purée sit alongside retro classics such as Wiener Schnitzel. Desserts are comfortingly traditional – rhubarb crumble with custard, chocolate tart and gooseberry and elderflower jelly. An eclectic wine list brings the meal together nicely, and with many great bottles for under £20, it's easy on the pocket. A perfect partner to Marylebone life, complete with friendly staff.

A great meal, as always, in one of our favourite local restaurants. Great service, great food and value on the 50% offer. We'll be back and recommend, a bit of Paris in Marylebone.
Fantastic atmosphere, interesting place, great location, average food, indifferent service. Great value with the 50% off deal.
Our second visit in a few weeks. A similar experience and we will come again. Friendly, smart and relaxed bistro atmosphere. Lovely traditional British and French cooking. Good wines usefully served by the carafe as well as bottle, although slightly pricey. Excellent service. A great place to relax with friends in a smart part of town. Downsides are that the tables are a bit crammed together and it can be noisy. Very popular. Excellent service.
We had a very pleasant evening at Hardy's in Marylebone. The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal, the food was extremely good and arrived promptly. Our first choice of wine was not available, but the manager suggested good similar choices, which were in fact cheaper. The bill was slow to arrive and was incorrect, in that it had both the wine we asked for, and the one we got, on it, and failed to allow for the Top Table offer, but this was quickly corrected. With the offer, terrific value.
For some reason I thought I'd booked for ten and was expecting eight, and in the end only seven of us turned up but this was not a problem to the charming staff at Hardy's W1 who promptly rearranged the tables Food and wines lovely and the digestif beers went down a treat with the menfolk Cosy and informal setting for catching up with close friends - lovely
