Good honest Sunday roast in relaxed comfy atmosphere, minutes away from Notting Hill Gate's busy traffic... can really recommend and will come back.

Small but very nice pub, it seems to me that a very popular, because there were a lot of people, the food was delicious, we were pleasantly surprised because the little money we had huge portions of fish and chips, waiter service was very busy and she could not deal with everything, but this is not a big deal and it was nice.

Very nice pub, nice atmosphere, it was fun because it was a lot of people, and ate risotto souffle, risotto was aldente as I like, delicate souffle was intense flavor of goat cheese, all of us really tasted.

An excellent pub, with fantastic food, very quick and prompt service. Food was outstanding. You are seated just off the main bar area but that does not matter and provides good atmosphere. Excellent for the price

We booked a table for 8 at The Hillgate in Notting Hill on a friday night and although the pub was packed and very noisy they kindly gave us a table in a side room which worked well. Table service was friendly and efficient. The slow cooked Pork Belly and steak were delicious - though a mushroom risotto was ok but not as good. Generally a positive experience.
