Fully air-conditioned restaurant ship permanently moored beside Victoria Embankment at the foot of Northumberland Avenue close to Embankment Underground station, benefiting from superb river views. In addition to the beautiful main-deck restaurant and elegant cocktail bar, there is an upper-deck bar with sun terraces fore and aft and a private meeting room below decks. Tapas and drinks, hot and cold, served all day, Lite Bites until 5pm, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner with set meals and mouth-watering a-la-carte menu by Head Chef Ba Diakhaby offering excellent modern European/Mediterranean cuisine. We had lunch at the Hispaniola, Victoria Embankment, London on Saturday with our 3 year old.On the whole it was a pleasant experience. The food was good, although a little over salty for our tastes, and the service was attentive too. The view was very lovely and we enjoyed our lunch. The decor appears a lot more glamorous on the web images than in reality and it could be made a bit smarter. It was over priced without a lunch time special offer so we wouldn't eat here again at the price we paid.

Dated decor and needs updating. The furniture lets it down. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and with the right promotion it could be a major venue. The food was excellent, but it is of concern that a service charge is automatically added and the staff only receive 35%. I had it deducted and paid a cash tip, at least the guys who earned it will get the money!

very good food, but you have to ask for the tapas menu if you want it.

Food was very average, menus were drab and dirty, drum and bass musician the bar food area not in the table clothed restaurant downstairs, just really odd. Wouldn t return. Nice being able to sit outside overlooking the river.
