About Hush

Tucked away in a peaceful cobbled courtyard in Mayfair, Hush is an excellent combination of brasserie, alfresco dining area, restaurant, cocktail lounge, private rooms and wine boutique. The courtyard in the summer becomes a mecca of activity with diners on the terrace and The Silver Room is an intimate space with a relaxed, informal atmosphere coupled with attentive, friendly waiting staff, creating the air of a private members club.

Toptable says about Hush

As the name suggests, discretion peace and quiet are the keys to this collection of bar, restaurant and cocktail lounge in Mayfair. Tucked away in a side street just far enough from the noise and crowds of Bond Street, Hush has a bustling Brasserie serving a range of Modern European food. With its lightwood tables, limestone floors and warm caramel and brown colour scheme Hush Brasserie is relaxed, fun and informal. The Cocktail Lounge provides and calm, intimate space with a stylish interior. Please note, customers may be seated in the ground or first floor restaurant and although an outside table can be requested, Hush cannot guarantee seating outside.

Food and service at Hush was good and we had a lovely evening. I would recommend it for that. However, even with the decent top table offer, a two course meal with wine and the 15% service charge still works out pretty expensive.

Hush is a nice restaurant with good food, yet a little overpriced for what it is. The food should have been better at that price. Great cocktails however.

Very nice food. The goats cheese starter was delicious!

Having eaten at Artisan for lunch the same day, Hush was a bit of a disappointment. The food was okay but nothing to write home about, and I think it's expensive for what it is. We sat on the ground floor which is the less desirable location and the low seating is fairly uncomfortable. Can't see myself going back here, although sitting and having a drink outside in the summer would be nice.

Lovely atmosphere at Hush. New waitresses meant service was't great. Good food.
