Il Cucciolo

About Il Cucciolo

Il Cucciolo could win an award for cuteness with its two arched fairy light-filled windows either side of a small arched door just up the street from Technicolor Piccadilly Circus. Inside is as cosy as you’d expect; neatly dressed tables subtly illuminated by faux candle wall lamps. Patient, polite staff expertly serves a modest range of traditional Italian pasta, meat, vegetarian, rice and fish dishes. Carefully-prepared specials change daily alongside a very good value set menu!

Nice staff, good service and home cooking food. Would recommend for pre theatre.

Well positioned friendly welcome traditional family Italian. Standard basic italian menu, very good protion sizes. Sauces a bit full on and rich for me personally. Limited number of specials, caters for pre theatre audience. Included service on the bill rather than leaving to discretion. Busy, more cosy alternative to Prezzo and other chains on Haymarket. Reasonably good value esp for area but not over inspiring.

Il Cucciolo LondonDenman Street Took my sister here after the theatre. Greeted with a warm smile and so the good service continued. Food was very good will certainly return in the future. Owner (or manager) came to see us at the end of the meal to see if everything had been OK which I thought was a nice touch. A most enjoyable experience for the centre of London.

We had a lovely dinner at il cucciolo, London. It was perfectly placed 2 doors away from the theatre and was very cozy and inviting inside. Our food was all delicious. Four generous plates of pasta at a reasonable price. We would definately go again.

I went with two friends (first visit) for a pre-theatre meal. When we arrived there were only two tables occupied. By the time we left (1.5 hours later) the restaurant was packed out. The food and service were both very good - and the staff very friendly. We will definitely visit again!
