Il Convivio

About Il Convivio

Located in the heart of Victoria, not far from chic Sloane Square, Il Convivio is perfect for lunchtime catch-ups or mid-week dinners with friends and family. The modern Italian menu is top notch and the dining room itself is comfortably elegant. The leather banquettes, hushed sophistication and impressive glass ceiling that retracts in warm weather make it just right for an evening out. The traditional warm welcome, excellent Italian wine list and charming service are just three of the reasons why Il Convivio has been a firm favourite with local foodies for some time. Popular dishes include the black spaghetti with fresh lobster and spring onions; the leg of rabbit wrapped in pancetta; and the warm chocolate and raspberry cake.

Had a lovely night at Il Convivio. Great food. Still pricey though (even with the 25% TT offer.

We went for a birthday lunch to Il Convivio in London. Service was charming. Food was generally very good although a couple of courses for a couple of us were less convincing. Good value with the Toptable deal, otherwise a bit overpriced/ poor value. Lovely airy and bright restaurant - felt good for a special occasion.

I went to Il convivio on a Thursday night. The restaurant was quite busy, with one big party, but he staff seemed to take it in their stride. I liked the food - classic italian with a twist - very much. It is relatively expensive, but perhaps not for Belgravia.
