Cotto

About Cotto

Since the Romans left, the Italians have been operating a policy of conquering the world's palate, plate by plate, and traditionally-run family restaurants like Cotto are their failsafe. The welcome is unfailingly warm here, the decor is authentic in feel, with murals on the walls, and the pleasures of the table are taken seriously indeed. Cotto is well-sited for

noshing down before or after family outings to the London Eye or Aquarium, and it's also very popular with business customers during the week. There's live music on offer, too. As for the menu, try classic Tricolor salad to start, one of more than a dozen pastas, like Spaghetti carbonara, and a main course of simply and beautifully grilled Sirloin steak. Or just opt for a pizza and be happy!

Fantastic for anyone allergic to wheat/Celiac. Fantastic choice of great food and a chance to not feel awkward when ordering! Highly recommended.

Cotto Westminster Road London - Pretty average food - pretty average interior (if not below average in the place we sat right at the back. Service was friendly - menu was unimaginative - being charged for bread and butter isn’t that unreasonable - but one piece of a cut up baguette and a wrapped butter portion is. And being asked if I am leaving a tip is one sure way to not get one! Not likely to go back although all the above being accepted it was ok/average.

I love Cotto on Westminster Road, mainly because I am wheat intolerant and the offer a whole gluten and wheat free menu full of pasta and pizza dishes as well as gluten free bread. They also offer a normal menu too. A great cosy little Italian restauarant.
