For oenophiles, Vivat Bacchus is sheer heaven, with over 15,000 bottles, ranging from well-known French favourites to boutique vintages, any of which can be enjoyed alongside the best of the famous walk-in cheese room, with its incredible range of cheeses from the world’s finest producers.

Vivat Bacchus - Farringdon, London Great place for an 'after-work' meal with friends or colleagues. Not too stuffy with good food and wine.
We had dinner at Vivat Bacchus in Holborn but decided not to go with the set menu, we went with the normal menu and got a half bottle of wine. The duck pate starter was good, not enough bread to go with the pate though. The zebra steak was flavoursome but chewy - although I don't know if this is a common thing for zebra steak as I hadn't had it before! The pie and wine however were disappointing.
Very good food
Lunch at Vivat Bacchus - good food and wine as per usual. Lovely for a quick lunch, but can also easily spend the entire afternoon there.
