Melodia Restaurant

About Melodia Restaurant

Melodia Restaurant, a traditional Italian with a reputation for authenticity, is located in London’s elegant Marylebone, only a short meander from Regents Park to the North and Oxford Street to the South. Friendly and relaxed, Melodia is attractively appointed in dark red and white, the colours traditional but the furnishings relatively modern, bringing together the idea of an old fashioned trattoria and a contemporary dining room and appealing to a widely varied crowd, ranging from London tourists to the choosy residents of the surrounding upmarket neighbourhoods. Greatly surprising is the extreme affordability of the Melodia menu, main dishes rarely finding their way towards the twenty pound mark. This means of course that here, excellent three course meals can be enjoyed without bank account guilt, leaving you to fully enjoy the kitchen’s superb dishes which are both traditionally Italian but put together in chic restaurant style. Pasta, meat, fish and risotto dishes, as well as salads, are joined by an almost entirely Italian selection of high quality wines.

Had a lovely meal at Melodia in London W1 last night. Great service and food, complete with complementary red rose for valentines day. Overall a lovely place.

Melodia, London - Lovely ambiance, attentive service, and the food was very nice - salmon salad was excellent.

Very nice cosy restaurant in Marylebone. Food was above average but not spectacular. The mushroom risotto did have porchini mushrooms and also some of the grit that comes with them! However, the owner was very nice indeed and tried to sort out the little service issues. Would eat there again if in the area.

Melodia (Marylebone) - almost completely empty on a Sat night which seemed strange though owner said was packed the night before. Food very tasty, and staff very accomodating (requested side dishes not on menu). Also nice touch to have complimentary limoncello - and a good one too!

This is my third time at the Melodia and found again a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, delicious Italian food and fantastic live music as a bonus. I couldn’t have hoped for a better evening. Highly recommended.
