Joe's Restaurant

About Joe's Restaurant

Joe’s restaurant is one of a small handful of restaurants owned by fashion retailer Joseph. On a discreet back street off south west London’s Fulham Road, diners at Joe’s can take the opportunity to eye up the exquisite creations hanging in the windows of Joseph’s flagship store opposite while enjoying fresh modern European cuisine. Featuring luxurious red leather chairs, and a rather imposing wall of wine, the newly refurbished restaurant is now home to celebrated chef Maria Elia. Influenced by her Greek-Cypriot dad, lauded stints at Delfina, El Bulli, Arzak and the Whitechapel Gallery, as well as a recent best selling vegetarian cookbook, her eclectic cooking has flavour at its heart and an underpinning of sustainability. Food here is, in fitting with the fashionable roots of the restaurant, fresh, tasty and healthy – perfect for a guilt-free feast. The frequently changing menu is made up of deceptively simple, multi-layered dishes, all keenly priced.

We had a very pleasant evening and the food and service was good. Surprised how quiet it was a saturday evening and Joe's is usually busy! Still it meant the service was perfect and we enjoyed our evening very much

Sunday brunch - well, we had something more like a full-blown lunch - at Joe's in London's Draycott Avenue was delightful and very reasonable. The only blip was a major delay in the arrival of the first course. But then without any prompting a full and gracious apology was offered along with an extra glass of wine for each of us - an excellent Viognier (from an interesting list) to accompany a first-rate meal. Joe's provided Sunday papers in a setting that was both relaxed and stylish. Bravo!
