The Oxford

About The Oxford

Ask any Kentish Town local about their favourite local, and we guarantee they’ll mention The Oxford. Located on Kentish Town Road only a stone’s throw from the tube, this old Victorian pub is the perfect meeting place for Sunday roasts, parties and business dining. Inside, the restaurant is an eclectic mix of vintage furniture, chandeliers and chalkboard menus contrasted with the industrial stainless steel open-plan kitchen. The Oxford hosts live jazz and comedy nights, and the modern Euro menu includes gems such as the braised rabbit with pappardelle in a tomato and sage sauce, and the lemon sole drizzled with caper, lemon and parsley butter and served with tender stem broccoli.

I booked a table for a birthday gathering and had a really enjoyable night at The Oxford in Kentish Town. The pub was packed but the restaurant area more serene and chilled. The decor is very nice. The staff were very friendly and attentive and made sure we had plenty of drinks all night. The food all came out together and everyone was impressed with their meals. A really good option for a group night out. I'll would definitely go back.
