Le Gia

About Le Gia

One of only a few London Vietnamese restaurants outside of Hackney, Le Gia is situated on the main street through Deptford. Though the design is modern and fresh with designer style lighting and monochrome colour scheme, Le Gia is anything but pretentious, offering the friendliest service around and an extremely welcoming atmosphere which seems to encourage guests to really make themselves at home, whether grabbing a quick lunch or sticking around for a lengthy, lingering dinner. The extensive Le Gia menu is full of traditional Vietnamese dishes, including the chef’s signature pho, taken straight from the country’s home kitchens, thus providing a truly authentic flavour from start to finish. Portions are extremely generous though very well priced, especially for the capital, and the quality of Le Gia’s food is high, earning it rave reviews from local diners across the web’s most trusted review sites.

Le Gia in Deptford provides attentive service. However, the food was average, especially the main course. We did enjoy the tasty delicate starters of spring rolls, grilled pork wrapped in race paper and summer rolls. Unfortunately the mains were not at the same standard.

Le Gia London What a disappointment! The servant was ok but the rest was really not worth a visit. Big place was almost empty and it didn t help to improve the ambiance.
