Caffé Concerto - St. Paul's

About Caffé Concerto - St. Paul's

The Caffé Concerto brand is synonymous with luxurious surroundings, good food and excellent music, a formula that really comes in to its own at the St Paul’s branch. Situated in the eyecatching, architect designed One New Change shopping centre, overlooked by London’s famous domed cathedral, Caffé Concerto has quickly become a favourite destination of businessmen and women from the surrounding high powered offices and the discerning shoppers who frequent the centre’s quality mid-range boutiques. Spacious and warmly inviting, Caffé Concerto’s dining room is comfortable and calm with touches of decadence in the choice of opulent chandeliers and gilded mirrors. Outside, a handful of pavement dining tables are available for sunny afternoons and warm evenings while inside the space is dominated by one of the unusual origami-form windows of Jean Nouvel’s much talked about building. Live music plays on the Caffé Concerto grand piano, providing a lovely accompaniment to the delicious Italian menu, which features excellent meat, seafood and vegetarian options, both traditional favourites and modern classics. A well conceived wine list completes the experience.

4 of us went there for Lunch with top table 2 for 1 offer. We all had steak, it is good deal with 2 for 1 offer. The restaurant was very busy and we had to wait for several minutes though we had made our reservation but the service was fast once we got our table.

As it was a Saturday night in the city, the restaurant was empty and I missed the piano player which always gives this restaurant a great atmosphere especially when busy, obviously we received very attentive service and when I complained about my overlooked burger, it was replaced, as usual, I will return....

We had the 2 for 1 offer at Cafe Concerto for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was busy but service efficient. Along with the complimentary bread we both had the Milanese chicken with pasta which was slightly too salty but with the offer you can't complain too much! Good value with the toptable offer.

Caffe Concerto is exactly as you would expect from a chain of lunch-time cafe.restaurants. Good range of light meals and a selection of cakes for a spot of indulgence.
