A total dump

Totally agree with all the negative reviews of this place. It's a dump, a doss-house. Even giving it 1 star is over-generous - it's worse than terrible. Sleep on the streets - much more pleasant...

I was moved here by the Berkeley Court Hotel because the toilet was broken at my room there - got the impression they are in the same ownership. Would advise you avoid them too!

Thief!!!!

At this hotel you have to leave the keys at the front desk. I went out to a cafe for a tea, and came back and my room and been tossed and all my valuables were stolen. STAY AWAY!!!!

My friend and i arrived at this hotel at 2.30am and were told we had to pay for all 4 nights before proceeding to the room. As we were exhausted we made the mistake of doing so. I was shocked to find that the room was very small, with paint peeling off the walls, dirty pieces of torn material used as curtains, headboards filthy, the TV not working, the lock on the door falling off the wall and the furniture in the room old and tacky. The bathrooms were shared with other guests and were similarly filthy, there was no hot water for the duration of our stay and the toilet on our floor was blocked for 2 days. After 1 night I developed some sort of rash which i suspect came from the dirty sheets or towel, after which i had to go out and buy my own. Breakfast consisted of instant coffee, 'choice' of 1 cereal and 3 pieces of toast with butter between 2 of us. This hotel should not be allowed to operate. The owners are cheating people and providing a standard of accommodation which is detrimental to people's health and safety. Do not book this hotel under any circumstances, trust me!!!

We booked this hotel through laterooms.com. This is a very cheap hotel and we had a large room to sleep four people for only L75. The beds were clean and new, the towels were clean though threadbare, the TV was enormous.

On the negative side, the decor was very cheaply and roughly done, the carpet was dirty, the curtains unhemmed and not hung properly, the bathroom had broken tiles and lots of mould. No tea or coffee making facilities available. Water poured down walls when shower used upstairs.

Now given the price we felt that we had a comfy bed, hot shower and coffee available from the garage on the corner it was not too bad.

BUT as we were getting ready to for bed we saw MICE!! That was the last straw....
